Enneagram Quick Facts Sheet

This is by all means, not an all inclusive fact list. It is, however, created as an easy printable handout to give to people who may be engaged in, or believe that the enneagram is something that is worth believing. Please reference the research library, as well as the podcasts I have done on the topic. That aside, this is a great starting point to understand the framework for why the enneagram is so dangerous, why exorcists have warned against it, and why the church has rejected it.

Mortification: 7 Deadly Sins

A beginners guide to mortification, designed to help recognize and combat the seven deadly sins with specific tactics for each.

“The root word for “mortification” comes from the Latin, mors and mortis, and it translates as “death.” In the spiritual life, therefore, mortification refers to voluntary actions by which we gradually “put to death” all of our vices, sinful habits, and the self-centered tendencies that lurk beneath them.

Jesus spoke about mortification as an absolute necessity for growth into Christian maturity.” - Fr. John Bartunek (What Is Mortification? - SpiritualDirection.com Article)

FSSP Guide to Scrupulosity

This thorough guide will help you better understand and combat the disease of scrupulosity.

“St. Alphonsus describes it as a condition in which one influenced by trifling reasons, and without any solid foundation, is often afraid that sin lies where it really does not. It is a bad habit doing harm, sometimes grievously, to body and soul. Indeed, persisted in with the obstinacy characteristic of persons who suffer from this malady, it may entail the most lamentable consequences. The judgment is seriously warped, the moral power tired out in futile combat, and then not unfrequently the scrupulous person makes shipwreck of salvation either on the Scylla of despair or the Charybdis of unheeding indulgence in vice.” - Catholic Encyclopedia
